Vista’s network copy speeds
I no longer have Vista on my notebook (too many errors and it gave up the ghost trying to triple boot) so I put it on my part time server / part time game PC.
While copying my SuSE 10.3 CD image from it to the notebook to burn it, I noticed the copy speed was pretty slow:
So slow in fact, that I thought it may be faster to download it from the ‘Net again….
I want my OpenSuSE server back! (long post to come on that!)
